We can’t believe we are already halfway through our second week! Everyone in the camp family is having so much fun. The campers loved having heritage twice again today. They are learning so much from Maestro and Stepan. Once again, Yegishe Surpazan and Der Tateos led the religion class and taught about the sacrament of Prayers for the Sick with the juniors and the importance of Church with the teens. This evening, we had our famous CIT hunt. The campers ran all over campus to find written clues that would lead them to the hiding spots of our two CITs. Once found, the CITs were led to the field and doused with water, and the shaving cream fight commenced. The campers loved it! After our delicious outdoor dinner of chicken kebabs and pilaf, the oldest teens led the rest of the campers in the evening activity. They planned a version of “So You Think You Can Dance?” and had each counselor group create a dance in forty minutes. Each group tried their hardest, but the teen boys’ dance ended up winning the judges’ hearts.
