Today, we decided to switch things up! After chapel and breakfast, we put on our swim suits and sports gear instead of grabbing our notebooks and pens. The reason? BOOT CAMP. Vahe gave our bodies a serious work out with laps and lunges, streches and sprints. Everyone was worked to their core and felt the burn after such an incredible workout. On this hot day, everyone enjoyed a refreshing dip in the pool. Tonight was the Olympic kick off, during which the blue, red, black and white teams gathered around the campfire to present their hand made flags and energetic chants. It was a close call, but the White Lightings ended up capturing the judges’ hearts. The Blazing Pomegranates, The Angry Blue Birds and The Sev Panthers put up a good fight. After a snack around the campfire, we headed to chapel, and then the juniors went to bed while the teens enjoyed some extended campfire.
