We can’t believe it’s already Thursday! The campers had a great day of classes, sports and swim. Karen Omartian, who is the Sunday School superintendent of St. Mark Armenian Church in Springfield, MA, arrived this morning and taught the campers about the sacrament of Chrismation in religion class. She cleverly showed her students the parts of the body where a baby is anointed with Holy Muron by having the campers put sticky notes on themselves. Though they had a blast throughout the day, the campers were anxiously awaiting the evening program, where they could display their talents at our famous Talent Show. We had some wonderful acts tonight, including singing Armenian songs taught by Mike Sabounjian in heritage, silly skits, ukulele duets, funny accents and a special dance (that included a light show!) from the teen boys. The campers cheered each other on and sang along with popular songs. It was such a fun night!
