We are now in our final week of camp! We can hardly believe it, but we are ready to make the most of these next six days. Sadly, we had to say goodbye to Der Vasken, but we said hello to Jenni, who will be serving as our Camp Director, and Der Stepanos Doudoukjian from St. Peter Armenian Church in Watervliet, NY, who will be serving as our Camp Chaplain. This afternoon, we were able to squeeze in a few games of dodgeball for Olympics, but we eventually had to go to the rec hall because it began to rain. The Olympic teams split up and played several rounds of Scategories, and the counselors also did a variety of improv skits to keep the campers entertained. Fifteen new campers were welcomed into the camp family this morning, and they fit right in to their counselor groups and Olympic teams. The evening activity tonight was a contest called The Roommate Game. Two roommates were divided by a wall, and one roommate had to guess the other roommate’s answers that they wrote on a board without looking at or speaking to them. We had some extra time to do a special edition of siblings too!
