We’ve finally arrived at our last session, and we couldn’t be more excited to begin! The new batch of campers came in this afternoon, settled into their rooms and (eagerly!) bid farewell to their parents. At the opening meeting, we reviewed the schedule and the rules with the campers and started on the right foot by singing the camp song a bunch of times. After dinner we took the swim test and had a bit of free time to bond with our groups. The evening activity for both the juniors and the teens involved different types of icebreakers so that the campers could get to know each other’s names and each other’s interests. With such a big group, we are anxious to see how all of the campers will blend and grow together as a family in the next coming days.
