It was a bittersweet day here at St. Vartan Camp. This morning, we said goodbye to six of our one-week campers. We will miss them very much, but we are excited to receive four new campers into our family tomorrow. At closing ceremony, four campers were awarded Camper of the Week from their counselor groups. After seeing our campers off, everyone got ready for Olympics. We had a bit of a dark forecast for the day, so a team of rainy-day experts got together and planned indoor activities for the four Olympic teams. They rotated between a Tae Bo workout, coloring, Scattegories and Apples to Apples. Following Olympics, teens and juniors shared the pool for the first time this week, and it was great to watch them play with each other and enjoy the water together. This evening, we watched the movie Space Jam in our PJs and sleeping bags. After a full week of non-stop learning and fun, it was nice to have a calm day to relax and recharge.
