Session C is officially in full swing! The whole camp family woke up bright and early and gathered for chapel at eight o’clock. After being filled with a delicious batch of chocolate chip pancakes, campers went to their morning locations. The CITs did a great job at teaching Armenian dances today during heritage, and the campers had a great start in Armenian language and arts and crafts. Along with our visiting clergyman, Der Kapriel Mouradjian from New Britain, CT, our current camp director Der Vasken Kouzouian went over our Code of Christian Living in religion. Vahe started off his sports session with basketball, and Chelsea opened the pool to watch the few brave campers who faced the cold water. Once we had a fire drill after dinner, we were able to start the evening activity. The counselor groups were given a beach ball, and they had to create a character using the ball as its head. All the characters were very creative!
