We had a wonderful mid-session Sunday here at St. Vartan Camp. We celebrated Badarak, and had many campers and staff serve on the altar while everyone else sang the choir part together. We ate a hearty brunch and got ready for another day of Olympic competition in our red and blue team attire. There wasn’t a cloud in the sky all day while campers rotated through basketball, kickball, soccer, and dodgeball in their teams. After a lot of fierce competition, the Blue team won our Olympic challenge! After both juniors and teens cooled off in the pool, we welcomed new campers and enjoyed some down time before getting ready for our surprise evening program. It was a great coincidence that another spur of the moment dance party started outside of Bitlis, because when we got to the rec hall we found that we would be having a surprise dance all together! It was a great day to recharge and get ready for a new week of classes and more fun!
