This morning we said goodbye to 9 of our 88 campers during a closing program. At the closing program, one camper from each counselor group was awarded the honor of “Camper of the Week.” The campers enjoyed a slide show of all of the pictures highlighting the activities at camp from the previous week. Once we said our goodbyes, we enjoyed an outdoor barbecue followed by an afternoon of Olympics. After dinner, the campers had some free time. At 8 o’clock the juniors headed to the campfire and were entertained by Arthur and some of our senior staff members while enjoying s’mores. While the juniors were at the campfire, the teens met in the rec center with Jennifer Morris, Diocesan Youth Outreach Coordinator, to watch a Nooma DVD and have a discussion. When it was time for the juniors to go to bed, the teens headed out to the campfire. The teens spotted several shooting stars while enjoying a few stories. Everyone was in their dorms by 10 o’clock in hopes of getting a good night’s sleep in preparation of Badarak.[b2evogallery¤4¤140¤/home/armenian/public_html/blogs/media/blogs/svc/2009B/B1-Saturday/]
