Today we had a very eventful and packed day at Hye Camp. Continuing with classes, teens and juniors tie dyed clothes out in the beautiful weather. Because of the sunshine, sports and swim were great and the kids came to dinner with smiles on their faces. With the arrival of the talent show, the campers and counselors had been preparing all week for their skits in the lineup. In just half an hour, the staff recorded a ‘lipdub’ video for the kids. The campers were outside their cabins and in the chapel practicing their skits. The MC’s for the talent show, Kyle and John, opened the show and began with the lineup starting from the youngest to oldest campers (with solo acts in between). Some solo talents included singing, dancing, and playing piano. The cabin skits included Shark Tank, Armenian Idol, and Family Feud. Other cabins did group dances and ‘a day in the life at camp.’ To close off the acts, the staff lipdub video was played and the campers enjoyed it very much. While eating snacks before heading to bed, all of Hye camp listened to the most recent W-HYE news given by Sona, Anahit, and Al. Juniors headed to bed, and after their free time the teens did the same. The day was a great success and everyone had a spectacular time at the talent show!
