This morning, we enjoyed a later wake-up and began the day with helping our week 1 campers pack and gather their belongings to head back home. In order to successfully transition from our first to our second week, we had our first-ever Closing Program for all Hye Camp members and parents. We watched a beautiful slideshow of pictures taken throughout the week and Fr. Hovhan led us in singing the Armenian national anthem. After we sent our one-week campers home with sincere prayers and well wishes, we ate lunch and resettled into our cabins. We welcomed Dr. Rosanne Oggoian who will be with us for the next 24 hours, and thank her for her service to the Hye Camp program. All of us went to sports and then the pool, and enjoyed some free time before dinner. After dinner, we all gathered in the chapel to relax and watch The Lego Movie. Everyone loved the movie and the moral of the story, which was to believe in ourselves and our own special qualities. We had a quiet evening in preparation of the celebration of Divine Liturgy tomorrow and the arrival of new Hye Camp members.
