Today at Hye Camp we had our first full day of classes. Our classes included Arts and Crafts, Armenian Language, Armenian Dancing, and Religion. While the younger kids had their classes, the older kids participated in Sports and Swimming, and then after lunch they switched. Not only was the day filled with fun activities, but the evening was as well. For dinner we enjoyed a wonderful meal of grilled chicken and after dinner we had a scavenger hunt and trivia night. The scavenger hunt consisted of the campers running around with their counselors and CITs looking for clues around campus to complete a puzzle of the Transfiguration of Jesus at the end. While the juniors participated in the scavenger hunt, the older kids got to play a trivia game with their Olympic teams. After all the night activities ended, the campers enjoyed a nice evening snack of pudding and Cheez-Its. It was also the first night of the W-HYE News. Following the snack, the juniors went to bed and the teens went to chapel for Vespers night before settling down for the evening.
