On Wednesday, August 4, 26 staff and 32 CITs gathered from around the Diocese for a three day training session prior to the arrival of their campers. During their training, the CITs and Staff worked together to prepare themselves for their leadership role at Hye Camp. Each morning, the staff and CITs gathered in the chapel for morning service and bible study to help prepare themselves spiritually for their upcoming responsibilities. They discussed the importance of putting the campers before themselves, as well as using their strengths to help make the camp experience as positive as possible. They discussed the importance of creating a family atmosphere, at Hye Camp and creating a positive camp experience for every participant.
