We took full advantage of the sun today! Jennifer Morris, Director of Youth and Young Adult Ministries, began our day with a message in chapel that inspired us to let our faith be stronger than our fears. Making the most of the gorgeous weather, campers ran laps and motivated each other through exercises as they accomplished their first bootcamp. Campers cooled off with a refreshing dip in the pool, and they were able to be their silliest selves as they debuted their Wacky Wednesday outfits during lunchtime. Counselors displayed their own creative outfits in a fashion show during Special Programming. After having a delicious Armenian style dinner, campers played “Dutch Auction” – a game where they had to collect the most random objects from their rooms and then convince a group of judges of their usefulness in a given scenario. Apparently, a panda mask would have been the most useful tool for Noah to have when he gathered sets of animals onto the arc! Our campers have the best imaginations.
