Today was our first full day here at St. Vartan Camp! After breakfast, chapel, and flagpole, our campers jumped into their new camp routines. They cheered each other on during a game of handball, and they enjoyed the coolness of the pool during swim time. Today in classes, campers made beaded lanyards, learned about Tigran the Great, and renewed their commitment to the Code of Christian Living. Before dinner, juniors and teens competed in an intense game of charades. In the evening, the entire camp family gathered under the pavilion to watch all of the counselor groups create chants and banners for their team names. Our campers proved their creativity when each counselor group had to embody a specific machine. Who knew our campers could transform into a toaster oven or car wash at the blink of an eye! We closed the night with evening chapel, and we pray for a good night’s rest to keep us energized for our next full day.
