Day two was just as great as everyone hoped it would be. We welcomed Fr. Mardiros Chevian who taught religion classes and also Arpi Nakashian who taught Armenian Language. The juniors got to start their day with some great lessons and the teens got to start their day with soccer and then do a little swimming in the rain, which they really enjoyed. This afternoon since it was too wet for the juniors to play soccer on the field they got to play line basketball under the pavilion and then got to swim in the slight drizzle of the rain, which didn’t last long; they enjoyed it just the same. Many were able to get involved in our evening activity of an improvisation session. So the CITs and staff got to do goofy and funny things in front of the campers and the campers got to decide what each of the scenes was for each game. In the end there were a few campers that did get involved and they all really enjoyed getting to see their counselors embarrass themselves a bit in front of everyone. The day was ended with a good laugh and then going to bed listening to the pitter patter of rain.
