The day started with breakfast and goodbyes, but it was the beginning of a beautiful weekend. The farewell for week one campers and staff took place at this time. Then, campers got situated to their week two cabins and played some games and icebreakers before lunch. For the rest of the afternoon, sports and swim were planned for both juniors and teens. It was very relaxing at the pool following a long eventful week. After dinner, the scavenger hunt and trivia took place. The campers (as a cabin group) raced excitedly to each clue in order to be the first to finish the scavenger hunt. When juniors were done with the scavenger hunt, they swapped with the teens and went to do trivia in the chapel. Then, we all gathered in the lodge for snacks to re-energize. At this time W-HYE news was given by Sona, Anahit, and Alec before evening service and lights out for juniors. Only teens attended evening service, led by Fr. Aren. At the service, the campers were given Badarak books. Out of the books we read the confession slowly to understand the reason behind confession and have a better appreciation of Badarak. Next, teens had some free time to bond before bed. Campers got lots of sleep for Badarak in the morning, and everyone was in their Sunday best for the service. After Badarak, we had brunch at 11 AM. Following brunch, we had a relaxing afternoon with a full two hours at the pool in the gorgeous weather. We had an early dinner and then watched The Lorax as part of the evening activity. Snack and evening service were the end of a very peaceful weekend. At evening service, Fr. Aren reviewed his message from Badarak. Juniors headed to bed, and shortly after their free time, teens did the same.
