Despite the rain today at Hye Camp, we had a day full of fun activities. Following the schedule, teens and juniors went to classes during the day. Since it was raining, the campers also had time to play games and bond in the lodge because of the cancellation of sports. While we stayed inside, the junior campers were put into groups and given a bag of props. With these props, they acted out scenarios that were given to them in their bags. It got some loud laughs out of the kids and they had a great time planning the skits. The teens had time to hang in the chapel and bonded over jokes and stories as rain poured outside. Then, both the juniors and teens joined together for some juicy watermelon in the lodge. Evening service was led by Fr. Tavit Boyajian in the chapel. Juniors headed to bed and ended the night with a prayer which was led by Fr. Tadeos Barseghyan. The teens had time to play some ping-pong and pool in the game room before heading to bed. As we prepare for a new day tomorrow, we hope for sunshine and lots of smiles.
