This morning during chapel the campers enjoyed Fr. Abraham’s message before heading back to their cabins for cabin clean-up. This year we implemented cabin inspections and while the competition is close, so far the 11 year old boys and 13 year old girls are in the lead. In classes today, the campers learned about Baptism, the Armenian alphabet, and Mer Hayrenik before heading to Arts and Crafts for some fun with tye dying. This evening everyone enjoyed a delicious shish kebab and pilaf dinner provided by the Knights and Daughters of Vartan (Avarayr Lodge, Chicago) followed by strawberry shortcake for dessert. After dinner, campers were all over campus defending their team in a camp-wide game of Capture the Flag. Before heading to bed, the campers gathered in the chapel for movie night.
