This morning we attended Divine Liturgy in celebration of the Transfiguration- which is the feast day we are learning about this year. Following brunch, the campers participated in a picture hunt, ice breakers, and games with their cabins to get to know each other. Before dinner, the campers took their swim test and had some free time in the pool. After a delicious dinner, the Olympic committee conducted the opening ceremony for the Olympics, which was something different at Hye Camp this year. We had a chance to meet with our Olympic teams to brainstorm creative team names and skits. We wrapped up this full day with a snack and evening prayer.
