Campers, CITs, and staff can all agree we had fun for the 4th of July. In sports, the campers played a basketball game known as “Knockout”. In arts & crafts the campers made Easter egg light catchers while in religious studies the campers discussed miracles. In Armenian language campers learned words for things found in and around the classroom/office settings, as the campers continued to polish off their Armenian dance in culture and heritage class. We celebrated America’s independence with a parade where campers had to think of a march, cheer, and presentation for the judges. The winners were announced at dinner and soon after, the Easter Bunny paid a visit to the dining hall. The day came to a close with vespers and a campfire.
