Campers welcomed Maestro Khoren Mekanejian to Session C. Maestro taught the campers various Armenian songs in Heritage. In “Crafts & Arts” class, campers made and colored their choice of crosses or the Jesus fish out of model magic. In sports, teens played line basketball while the juniors played kickball. In swimming, campers watched a movie while other played games while a thunderstorm loomed over the campsite. After the thunderstorm was over camp resumed as normal and the campers proceeded to dinner. After dinner, campers went on a PowerPoint tour of Jerusalem led by Arthur Sabounjian, Greg Torosian, and Fr. Vasken. Greg and Arthur described both the sites and emotions they experienced on their recent diocesan trip to the Holy Land.
