Today was our first full day of camp, and what a beautiful day it was! The weather was fantastic allowing us to fully enjoy the extent of the campus. Juniors began their classes today in the morning (Religion, Heritage, Arts & Crafts, and Armenian Language) while the Teens had Sports and Swimming. In the afternoon Sports session, the Juniors Girls defeated the Junior Boys in an epic game of Kickball. For the Evening Program, the entire camp participated in the Human Race, creating Humans simply from a blow-up beach ball (click “Read more” to get the full picture). The winners of the Human Race were the Oldest Teen Boys, with a live-action lacrosse player scoring a goal, while the Youngest Junior Girls came in 2nd with their creation of Program Director Arthur Sabounjian. We welcomed Maestro Khoren Mekanejian and Fr. Bedros Kadehjian who will be teaching Heritage and Religion Class respectively. The campers really enjoyed the Human Race and are excited for all that is still to come!
