Today was a bittersweet day since it is the last day of Hye Camp, but we enjoyed it very much. The day started with breakfast and morning service was given by Fr. Aren. The campers made door hangers in arts and crafts today by decorating them with vibrant colors. The weather was holding up with us for sports and swim. We all got to be active together today for the last time. After swim, we had time to shower and have dinner before the second dance of the Hye Camp season. Following dinner, the campers, CITs and Staff went to their cabins to look their best for the dance. Our DJs for the dance were DJ Tal and DJ Ana on the ones and twos. All night, the best Armenian and pop songs were being played. We did the Michigan Hop, the Chi-town glide, and the Tamzara. The campers also got to dance to some popular pop songs mixed in with Armenian. By the time curfew rolled around, the campers were ready for some much needed sleep. The last two weeks at Hye Camp brought us so much closer through the laughs and good times. Today wraps up another Hye Camp season, and we look forward to seeing everyone again next year.
