B1-Wednesday
In sports, drill sergeant Vahe gave the campers the military experience with the acclaimed “Boot-Camp Wednesdays” where the campers ran, did push-ups, sit ups, and some other fun workout drills. It was a normal morning at St. Vartan Camp, campers were having fun playing volleyball in sports, swimming, and in their classes. For lunch, we enjoyed a delicious barbecue outside. B1-Monday
This was the campers first full day at camp. Teens enjoyed dodgeball in sports with Vahe, as well as “Woosh” in the recreation hall with Chelsea Kress in the morning because pool was under maintenance. While the teens were at play in the morning, the juniors enjoyed Armenian Language class

In the morning, the staff and CITs participated in Divine Liturgy led by the camp director Rev. Fr. Krikor Sabounjian to prepare themselves to lead the campers through all the fun they will be having in a Christian environment. The morning message was given by Rev. Fr. Mardiros Chevian who

We held our farewell dance for the Session A campers. DJ Impossible dressed up in bunny ears and DJ’ed a fun spring themed dance with Easter undertones. It rained a little so instead of a campfire, campers had an additional hour to dance, which they seemed to all enjoy just

We had our weekly talent show in the evening. (highlight reel below) Performances included dances from Culture & Heritage class, acting, singing, musical numbers, jokes, poems, and many more. Campers all contributed to put on a performance to remember!

We had our bi-weekly CIT hunt, where campers and staff sought out their CITs in a 10 question scavenger hunt. After hunting, the campers had to catch their CITs and bring them to the field in front of Gesaria where they covered them in shaving cream and water. This inevitably
