We finally got the long anticipated rain today. Luckily, it only showered for a little bit and we were still able to enjoy most of the day. We received a visit from our Primate Archbishop Khajag Barsamian just after lunch and got to spend the afternoon with him. After taking a group picture with him, Srpazan had a chance to address the group and answer any questions the campers had for him. We also received a visit from some of our Heritage class characters, Mesrob Mashdots, Princess Khosrovidukht, and St. Gregory, who shared some words with Srpazan and told him what a pleasure it was to meet the youth of the Eastern Diocese. We continued the afternoon as scheduled and Srpazan got to visit the different classes.
The Evening Program for tonight was the second Talent Show. This week was filled with just as many entertaining and talent-filled acts as last week’s talent show. We enjoyed the different dances performed, the songs played and sung, and especially the Oldest Teen Boys act: “Who’s smarter than an Oldest Teen Boy?” Everyone is getting excited for tomorrow night’s dance and campfire, but is also getting sad that camp is almost over. Here’s to the next 2 days!
